Next week – on June 7-8 – the Financial Issues Committee will meet in Washington, D.C.  This year, the Committee will hear updates on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act from Senator Steve Daines, S-Corporation Association President Brian Reardon, and an update on the new Opportunity Zones from tax counsel to Senator Tim Scott, Shafron Hawkins.  Additionally, attendees will hear updates on the latest from the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and new accounting initiatives.
