AGC Federal Contractors Descend on Washington

Hundreds of federal construction contractors met with major federal construction agencies and members of Congress at AGC’s Federal Contactors Conference.

AGC contractors engaged in federal construction had the opportunity to discuss challenges surrounding the new project labor agreement mandate, construction material price inflation, supply chain disruptions, upcoming projects, and ways the industry and federal agencies can work together to meet the challenges and deliver projects safely and efficiently. In addition, many of the agencies made significant announcements about their respective programs.

Representatives from federal agencies included:

  • S. Army Corps of Engineers;
  • Naval Facilities Engineering Command;
  • General Services Administration;
  • Small Business Administration;
  • Department of Veterans Affairs;
  • Department of State’s Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations;
  • Natural Resources Conservation Service;
  • S. Bureau of Reclamation; and
  • Air Force Civil Engineer Center.

All presentations and other information from the conference were made available by e-mail to the attendees of AGC’s Federal Contractors Conference. If you missed out, be sure to join us next year!
