Rep. Liz Cheney Tours Highway Project in Wyoming

On Oct. 8, AGC, along with the Wyoming Contractors Association and High Country Construction, hosted U.S. Representative and Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney for a tour of a local highway construction project in Fremont County, Wyoming.

This $14.6 million project includes grading, draining, milling plant mix, placing pit run and crushed bases, bituminous pavement surfacing, chip seal, electrical, and miscellaneous work on approximately seven lane miles of Wyoming State Highway 132. During the tour, the group discussed the benefits that a long term, bipartisan infrastructure bill would bring to Wyoming and the country. Specifically, the group noted that due to deteriorated roads, Wyoming residents are paying an additional $365 per resident per year in vehicle maintenance. To read the full release, click here.
