AGC PAC Endorses Jennifer Strahan for the U.S. House of Representatives

The Associated General Contractors of America Political Action Committee, also known as the AGC PAC, announced today that it has endorsed Jennifer Strahan for the United States House of Representatives. AGC PAC officials said they are supporting the Strahan campaign because of her strong commitment to the construction industry in Georgia.

“Congress needs serious leaders who will act with integrity and work hard to find solutions to our nation’s most pressing issues. Jennifer Strahan will be an honest voice and effective advocate for Georgia and its 14th Congressional District in the House,” said Stephen E. Sandherr, Treasurer of AGC PAC. “As an entrepreneur and executive, Ms. Strahan is a problem solver who knows how to get things done and has first-hand experience with how D.C. decisions impact employers, workers, and consumers.”

In addition to endorsing Jennifer Strahan, AGC PAC has contributed the maximum amount of $5,000 to her primary election. AGC PAC is also encouraging the association’s members in the 14th Congressional District to help turn out the construction vote in support of her candidacy in the primary election on May 24, 2022.

“Jennifer Strahan understands the need to invest in workforce development to support Georgia businesses to keep the economy growing,” added Mike Dunham, Chief Executive Officer of AGC Georgia, the association’s Georgia chapter. “Jennifer will be a strong advocate in Congress for all of her constituents by advocating for investments that help put more Georgians into rewarding careers and boosting local businesses.”

AGC is the association for the commercial construction industry, with over 600 member companies in its Georgia chapter, representing general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers. This endorsement comes from AGC PAC, the national association’s political action committee.
