New Build America, Buy America guidance from the White House takes effect on October 23, but many questions remain for contractors.

New White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidance implementing the Build America, Buy America Act—a provision within the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)—takes effect on October 23.

The guidance includes some clarification of these domestic manufacturing requirements for federal-aid construction projects and yet more confusion regarding others. AGC has added to its FAQs document HERE to help members continue to understand those dynamics.
