U.S. Department of Transportation Announces $1B in Airport Terminal Grants

Grants will fund over 90 projects at our nation’s airports.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced $1B in airport terminal grants as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act or Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This is part of the overall $5B in funding for airport terminal development projects that address the aging infrastructure of the nation’s airports.

According to U.S. DOT, these projects will expand capacity at our nation’s airport terminals, increase energy efficiency, promote competition, provide greater accessibility for individuals with disabilities, and build two new air traffic control towers.
