AGC needs its members advocating in the political arena to help create public policy solutions for complex issues facing the industry. Most elected officials have diverse backgrounds and experiences qualifying them for their offices, but very few have professional construction experience. To serve effectively, these elected officials need information. They need input from employers and voters employed by businesses like yours.

Your understanding of the issues and your experience in the industry can have guide policymakers on Capitol Hill.  But no matter how strong, one voice is often overpowered by the endless clamor of D.C. politics.

Assist AGC and the industry by helping to recruit construction advocates. Together, you and  thousands of others in the industry will speak with a united voice. And as the saying goes, “There is power in numbers.”
