AGC of America has a guide for federal contractors to object to the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) release of their EEO-1 data by October 19.
In case you missed it, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) is offering all federal government contractor organizations until October 19, 2022, to file written objections to the OFCCP’s anticipated disclosure of the 2016-2020 EEO-1, Type 2 Consolidated Reports. The Type 2 Reports include data for all employees of the company (i.e., all employees at headquarters as well as all establishments) categorized by race/ethnicity, sex, and job category. More info can be found here.
In response and with the deadline rapidly approaching, Alissa Horvitz of the law firm Roffman Horvitz provided AGC of America a guide for contractors covered by this FOIA request to follow as they consider their options and potentially object to their particular company’s EEO-1 release. Objection guide can be found here.
